Jay Baruch, MD, is a professor of emergency medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School and director of the Scholarly Concentration in Medical Humanities and Ethics. He has written several books, including his most recent, "Tornado of Life: A Doctor’s Journey Through Constraints and Creativity in the ER."
