PISMO BEACH, CA, 2021
I took this photo while on a road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway. My wife and I were enjoying the pier and watching people in the water surfing. So far on our trip, we hadn’t caught any incredible sunsets. We were very excited when the sun started going down and the sky lit up in brilliant pinks and oranges. As we were enjoying the view, a surfer got out of the water and began heading up the beach. It was the perfect moment to capture the Southern California vibe, brilliant sunset with a surfer silhouette.
