What does it mean to really see the human body? What emotions come to the surface while reading medical images? Tia Forsman ’19 MD’23 explores these questions and more through “Seeing and Healing,” her project for the Scholarly Concentration in Medical Humanities and Ethics. Using text, drawings, and handmade prints, Forsman is creating a series of books that embrace the abstraction and uncertainty of diagnostic images.
